STAFF MEMBER FOR TECHNICAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT – FURNITURE & INTERIOR FITTINGS (m/f/d)

ISARIA designs and implements brand identities in the automotive, insurance, financial services and retail sectors. We offer our clients comprehensive project support, from design development and technical implementation right through to final realisation.
With a team of around 50 staff, we serve and supply clients all over the world from our headquarters in the east of Munich.
The process from technical development through to on-site implementation at our clients’ premises is one of our core areas of expertise. As a Technical Product Development Engineer for Furniture & Interior Fittings, you will act as the key link between the various departments throughout a roll-out, right through to the end of the project cycle. In this role, you will have a strong technical understanding and be accustomed to coordinating projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Technical implementation and management of series production projects in the furniture sector, working closely with the Key Account team and our suppliers
- Ensuring accurate technical documentation
- Maintaining master data in the ERP system
- Preparing assembly instructions
- Managing and coordinating processes with regard to deadlines, costs and deliverables
- Visiting project sites and suppliers during the initial market launch phase of product development
Your Skills
- Completed technical/vocational training as a carpenter, master craftsman, or technician
- Ideally, a qualification as a wood technology technician with experience in shopfitting, retail interiors, or interior fit-out projects
- Graduates in wood technology are also welcome
- A hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented, independent approach to work
- A structured and organized way of working
- Good understanding of commercial and technical processes
- Good command of English
- Good MS Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks or another CAD program would be an advantage
