ISARIA Corporate Design AG completed the TUI concept store in Hamburg‘s QUAREE Wandsbek shopping mall in November 2014

Acting as the main contractor, ISARIA AG ensured that the entire alteration work for the TUI concept store was carried out in a mere eight weeks.

The mission was to merge two differing shop areas into a generously-dimensioned store. ISARIA Project Management‘s role was to organise, coordinate and supervise the various skilled trades involved and ensure that all alteration measures were completed without delay. „TUI seeks to win over its customers at every phase of their journey, starting with travel bookings staged as a special experience and not ending until the return journey from the holiday destination is over.“ In the new TUI store, the customer is accordingly taken on a journey that leads, like the beads on a string, from one focus area to another before a trip is even booked.

ISARIA also produced the new innovative furniture given a modular design and specifically tailored to travel customers. Pale-toned materials and harmonious combinations of modern colours predominate in all areas of the store. Horizontal surfaces in oak form a warm contrast to the clear form language of the overall styling.The number of modules to be implemented at further TUI stores as part of the innovative store concept will depend on the size, location and   

complexity of the stores concerned. Booking a journey in the classical way, leafing through catalogues, gaining inspiration at the library of select travel books or pausing for refreshments at the TUI café counter – the differing zones into which the space is divided enable various ways of approaching the subject of travel or a holiday. At a wide high table equipped with iPads, visitors are able to embark on virtual journeys and discover countries, cities and selected hotels at the touch of a screen.

The key area of the store is a generously-dimensioned inspiration zone based on the idea of a hotel lobby and featuring an interactive world map – an ideal location for providing customer advice in a relaxed atmosphere. This leads over to a clearly delineated zone for making bookings in a discreet setting. The new TUI format provides a first taste of holidays with a mix of hospitality, inspiration and information in an airy and modern atmosphere – all perfectly executed with ISARIA Corporate Design AG.
